Alternative Transportation / Sustainable Brewery Day
July 19, 2009 - You are invited to Alan Butler's 6th annual Alternative Transportation - Sustainable Brewery Day, at the Redhook Brewery in Woodinville. The goal is to have fun with our PNWIS families and to arrive at the Brewery by any means other than a single occupancy vehicle. See you at noon on Sunday, July 19 for suds, good food, and good company.
Meet us there or join one of our bicycle squadrons. One squadron wing will be leaving Gas Works Park in Seattle at 10 am for a slow and easy 18 mile ride with breaks, via the world famous Burke-Gilman Trail. Another wing will be leaving from Marymoor Park in Redmond (meet at the climbing rock at 10:45) for a shorter one-hour ride. If you don't have a bike come to the shorter route and borrow a loner bike from a Dasani Blue Bikes locker.
You may also come by bus, walk the shorter route, or pledge your vehicle to be a bicylce/walker support vehicle, (for those who suddenly realize they can't do the round trip). Kids are welcome on the rides, on their own bikes, trailer, or parent's backpack.
Bring money. Everyone is responsible to pay for what they consume
Brewery Tours are available for those without children
at 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 pm.
[Red Hook Brewery 14300 NE 145th. Woodinville, WA 206-483-3232.]
