Call For Abstracts

You are invited to submit an abstract for the 60th Annual Conference of the Pacific Northwest International Section of the Air & Waste Management Association hosted by the Inland Northwest Chapter. The conference will be held October 27 – 29, 2021 at the four-star Coeur d’Alene Resort located on 115 S. 2nd Street in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

We are soliciting presentations to be given during the conference through this call for abstracts on subjects including but not limited to:

  • Air quality permitting, modeling, policy, and management
  • Dispersion modeling
  • Water quality
  • Waste management
  • Mining
  • Environmental sustainability

There will be seven one-hour forty minute sessions. Each presenter should plan on presenting for 20 minutes and allow 5 minutes for questions following the presentations. For more information and the preliminary program, please review the  PNWIS 2021 Call For Abstracts and submit your abstracts to 2021PNWISPapers [at] by September 10, 2021 (extended from previous August 2 deadline). Authors will be notified of their acceptance by October 4, 2021

For those that would like to present at PNWIS 2021 but won’t be attending, the conference committee is accepting abstracts for virtual/pre-recorded presentations. Speakers can present virtually in-real-time, or send in pre-recorded presentations, at no cost.

Session chairs and presenters can receive a discount on registration fees for a full conference registration. In addition, conference attendees can receive an additional discount for registering before September 24, 2021.
