Welcome from PNWIS President, Mark Milner
Welcome to the Pacific Northwest International Section (PNWIS) of the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA). Our goal is to continue to be a world-class professional organization that offers a neutral open-forum for the exchange of ideas and knowledge in environmental management and associated fields. PNWIS and its chapters offer a host of opportunities for networking, education, and open discussion.
PNWIS proudly serves Alaska, Idaho, Montana, Oregon, and Washington – USA and British Columbia, and the Yukon – Canada with eight chapters throughout the region. Our membership consists of professionals from a wide range of sectors including government, industry, consulting, and academia.
Whether you are a student, young professional, or a seasoned expert, we’d love to see you at our meetings, events, and annual conference! Please consider joining a chapter and getting involved!
A&WMA provides programs and activities designed and conducted by environmental professionals for environmental professionals.
Membership in A&WMA provides access to a worldwide network of individuals from industry, government, and the consulting, research, academic, and legal communities who engage in the exchange of technical and managerial information.
Join the A&WMA Puget Sound Chapter at our 3rd Wednesdays Networking Events -- a different location across the Sound every month!
A&WMA members, non-members, students, friends, and all others who work or are interested in the fields of air quality and environmental management are welcome to attend. Please come out and chat with your colleagues and learn about the interesting work being conducted in the region.
