Please join us on Tuesday, December 7th, 12:00 – 1:00pm for our next free (virtual) brownbag presentation hosted by the A&WMA Idaho Chapter.
“The Evolution of AQI” – Doug Herlocker, Ramboll
Doug will present the historical development of the Air Quality Index (AQI) and current utilization by federal and state agencies, along with a host of web-based reporting platforms that use newer low cost sensors. The AQI has become a necessity for people who want to recreate or just be outside, especially during increased pollution or wildfire events. Understanding the source of AQI data and data reporting formats allows users to make informed decisions. This presentation will cover the early days of the AQI to now when AQI data is available on nearly every weather app, a host of state and federal websites, and reported on many local news channels.
For the first 20 RSVP’s FREE lunch will be delivered directly to you prior to the start of the meeting. The following RSVP information is required;
(1) Full address of your location on December 7th to receive the lunch delivery around 11:30am, and
