Join the Air & Waste Management Association’s Inland Northwest Chapter on September 26, 2024 at 3:00 PM for an afternoon walking tour of some of Spokane’s redevelopment projects in downtown and Kendall Yards! Many of Spokane’s downtown amenities have unique histories as brownfields. Sandy Treccani of the Washington Department of Ecology will be leading the tour, and answering any technical questions you may have.
We will meet at the Rotary Fountain in Riverfront Park at 3:00 PM and begin the walking tour shortly after. After the tour is complete, we’ll be meeting at Nectar in Kendall Yards at 4:30 PM for an afterwork social! We’ll be there for a couple hours, and the Inland Northwest Chapter will be covering the first round of drinks and food for attendees. You’re absolutely welcome to join us at the social if you can’t make the brownfields tour. Nectar is located at 1331 W. Summit Parkway, Spokane, WA 99201.
Please contact David Finley at david.finley[at]ecy.wa.gov for any questions you have about the tour.
