The 60th Annual Conference of the Pacific Northwest International Section of the Air & Waste Management Association was held October 11th – 13th 2022 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho at The Coeur d’Alene Resort. The conference was attended by over 150 environmental professionals representing businesses and government agencies from across the region.
The conference began Tuesday, October 10th with a professional development course: “Environmental Awareness Basics for Environmental Managers and Professionals.”
The conference’s keynote speaker was Caj Matheson, Natural Resources Director for the Coeur d’Alene Tribe.

Welcome to the Pacific Northwest International Section (PNWIS) of the Air & Waste Management Association (A&WMA). Our goal is to continue to be a world-class professional organization that offers a neutral forum for the exchange of ideas and knowledge in environmental management and associated fields. PNWIS and its chapters offer a host of opportunities for networking, education, and open discussion.

Our membership consists of professionals from a wide range of sectors including government, industry, consulting, academia, and students.
