This position serves as DEQ’s statewide air quality airshed modeling and meteorology supervisor. Responsibilities include overseeing airshed modeling for airshed management, supporting state implementation plans, and supporting the statewide ambient air monitoring network and permit modeling group. The position works closely with the Air Quality Dispersion Modeling Supervisor to ensure the air programs’ modeling needs are met. Responsibilities also include overseeing meteorological and forecasting support for the smoke management program, monitoring network, and permit modeling group.
