The Air Quality Program (AQP) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill Two PSD Permit Engineer (Environmental Engineer 2)(In-Training) positions. This position is located in our Headquarters Office in Lacey, WA.
In this role you’ll review complex New Source Review (NSR) and Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) applications to understand if the major air emission sources will be in compliance with Best Available Control Technology (BACT) and other applicable state and federal air quality requirements.
This position offers great opportunity to learn about industrial production processes, air pollution control design and interact with engineers from various institutions and industrial sectors. If you’re working toward your Professional Engineer (PE) license, this In Training position is a great opportunity to gain engineering experience while working under a licensed PE.
