The Alaska Chapter of A&WMA is excited to host an opportunity for local college students to showcase their environmental research. All environmentally themed projects from both undergraduate and graduate students are welcome. Abstracts are due by March 22. Winners will receive prizes. Please see the flyer linked below for more information.
Individual students or a group of students (max. group of 4) will be given 10 minutes to present their projects with 5 additional minutes for a round of questions. Each presentation will be judged on the quality of research, the creativity of the topic, and the participant’s presentation skills. Projects may be in progress at the time of the Challenge, but partial results and anticipated steps moving forward should be addressed during the presentation.
