Technical Luncheon – Colbert Landfill
Join the A&WMA Inland Northwest Chapter on May 3, 2023, from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM for a lunchtime presentation on the Colbert Landfill from Spokane County’s Austin Stewart (Water Resources Specialist) and Mike Terris (Environmental Engineer).
The presentation will be at Shawn O’Donnell’s Irish Pub (719 N. Monroe Street, Spokane, Washington). Austin and Mike will provide an overview of the Colbert Landfill, including background, contamination, monitoring/cleanup activities and programs, hydrogeology of aquifers/groundwater, the extraction/treatment system, current work, and potential future redevelopment opportunities.
