CALL FOR A&WMA PUGET SOUND CHAPTER 2021 BOARD NOMINATIONS!
The Puget Sound Chapter election to determine our 2021 board will be held in November. We are currently seeking nominations of those who may be interested in serving on the Chapter board next year as an officer.
Please consider submitting a nomination!
Persons new to the area and Young Professionals, who wish to network or get more involved in A&WMA, are especially welcome on the board. No experience or current A&WMA membership necessary!
We are currently accepting nominations for the following chapter board positions:
- Chair
- Vice-Chair
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Director (2 positions open)
As a chapter officer you will get the opportunity to help plan technical and networking events and help determine the future of the chapter. The time commitment is low (a few hours per month). Serving as an officer is a great opportunity to meet and volunteer with other environmental professionals in the Western Washington region. We are a fun and welcoming group, working together in a neutral forum, striving to fulfill the mission of the A&WMA!
The chapter is also interested in reaching out to past PNWIS or Puget Sound Chapter leaders, who may be interested in returning and serve as Chair or Vice-Chair for 2021. Contact us if you are interested!
