Save the Date!

Data Center Environmental Permitting and Compliance Challenges

Wednesday, May 26th, 1:00pm – 5:00pm PDT: The Pacific Northwest’s cheap power, open spaces, and tech-savvy populations provide an opportune habitat for the location of large data centers that power and run the world’s key web industries. New data centers continue to be built in our area as the demand for storage and online services grow. Environmental planning and permitting of these facilities brings new challenges to industry and regulators alike.

You are invited to join the A&WMA Puget Sound Chapter on Wednesday, May 26th from 1:00 to 5:00pm as we present an online workshop focused on data center environmental permitting and compliance. The workshop will feature speakers from the Washington State Department of Ecology, regional environmental consulting firms, and more.

Registration will open on April 20th, more information to come by email and at https://pnwis.org/puget-sound/

Students: free, A&WMA Members: $30, A&WMA Non-Members: $40

The event will be co-hosted by A&WMA Puget Sound Chapter and SLR Consulting
