The Air Quality Program (AQP) within the Department of Ecology is looking to fill a Commercial Industrial Unit Manager (WMS Band 1) position. This position is located in the Eastern Region Office (ERO) in Spokane, WA. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.
As the Commercial Industrial Unit Manager, you will coordinate activities for eight professional and technical staff that permit and determine compliance of industries that emit air pollutants within the twelve counties of eastern Washington. You will also be part of the Air Quality Program’s extended leadership team, helping to establish and influence statewide rules, policies and procedures, as well as driving program strategic plans and priorities.
