The Air Quality Program (AQP) is looking to fill two Greenhouse Gas Emissions Engineer (Environmental Engineer 2)(In-Training) positions. These positions will be located the Headquarters Building in Lacey, WA. Upon hire, you must live within a commutable distance from the duty station.
As a Greenhouse Gas Emissions Engineer, you will be reviewing GHG emissions reports from entities, like fuel suppliers and industrial facilities, and evaluating the reports for accurate, timely and complete data. You will also prepare engineering calculations, provide technical analysis, conduct inspections and audits, make recommendations for violation and noncompliance, and assist with the third-party verification program.
Tele-work options for this position: This position will be eligible for a tele-work schedule. Schedules are dependent upon position needs and is subject to change.
