Inland NW Chapter hosting: PFAS Fundamentals, Effects, and Current Issues

The A&WMA Inland NW Chapter will be hosting a webinar:
“PFAS Fundamentals, Effects, and Current Issues”
December 3, 2020 at noon.
Beth Hodgson, P.E., Principal Engineering at Spring Environmental, Inc. will be presenting on one of the hottest environmental topics of the past couple of years.  
Beth Hodgson has been awarded undergraduate degrees in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY, received a graduate degree in Environmental Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, and completed the coursework towards a Master’s of Science in Safety Engineering from Kennedy Western Institute. She has been recognized as the 1999 Engineer of the Year by the Spokane Chapter of the Society of Women Engineers and as the 2002 Young Engineer of the Year by the Washington Society of Professional Engineers. She has more than 30 years of experience in environmental, health and safety, including air quality permitting, solid and hazardous waste permitting and management, PSM, risk management assessments, industrial hygiene monitoring, and EH&S training. Ms. Hodgson has consulted on development and maintenance of EH&S programs for a variety of industries including, but not limited to agriculture, electroplating, electronics, foundries, painting, plastics fabrication, pharmaceutical, wood products, surface and underground mining; with public agencies including utilities, hospitals and airports; and with governmental organizations; and is very knowledgeable of characteristics and management of chemicals.
